Edscha is a company that takes social responsibility seriously by supporting the development of underserved areas in China. Since 2017, Edscha China has been committed to the Yunnan school project and has built a strong and reliable foundation for a sustainable, long-term partnership.
In September, Edscha volunteers, including three from EAT and two from AEA, embarked on an impactful trip with nine children and two teachers. During the trip, the children had the opportunity to learn about history, culture, and crafts from our volunteers, which opened their minds to new possibilities.
The visit to Fugong, the town where the Yunnan School is located, allowed the children to broaden their horizons and gain a new perspective. During their visit, the children, aged 4 to 10, had fun exploring local historical sites and learning about the region's unique history and culture. For some of the children, it was their first time leaving their village. Edscha volunteers also prepared various art, handcraft, and sports activities, aiming to inspire the children and help them see and learn more about the world.
Having a dream is a significant aspiration for everyone, and it was a core message during the activities organized by Edscha volunteers. The volunteers encouraged the children to dream big and aim for their desired future professions. Some expressed a desire to become teachers, inventors, or doctors, and their aspirations were celebrated and appreciated.
The volunteers emphasized that having a dream is vital and powerful, and anything is possible with determination and effort. Edscha is grateful to the volunteers for instilling this inspiring message in the children.
As a result of this trip, Edscha has not only provided books and learning materials but has also enriched the children's lives by offering dynamic and diverse activities to broaden their perspectives and knowledge.
