Edscha China launched a CSR activity called Plogging in Kunshan. Unfortunately, due to the resurgence of Omicron, the event had to be postponed from March to June 2022. However, despite the hot weather, 34 volunteers joined this social activity to clean up litter while exercising. Plogging is an excellent way to improve our health and take care of the environment simultaneously, making it a win-win situation.
This new, eco-friendly workout trend comes from the Swedish term "PLOGGA," and it involves picking up trash while jogging. Since 2016, over 3 million people have taken part in organized or solo Plogging activities. This activity aims to raise awareness about the impact of litter on the environment and encourages people to take action to keep our planet clean. Edscha is proud to support this initiative and promote a healthier, cleaner world.
Plogging, the activity of picking up litter while jogging or walking, has several values and benefits. Plogging brings people together to work towards a common goal, promoting community engagement and social connections. It fosters a sense of responsibility and shared ownership of the environment. Overall, plogging offers a range of benefits, from environmental to physical and social, and can be an enjoyable way to stay fit while contributing to a cleaner, safer world.
