Technology with Purpose for a better life is a consistent commitment of Siemens. Year 2022 is the 150th anniversary of Siemens in China, and the 10th anniversary of SEVA. On the historic occasion, Siemens officially launch the ‘Siemens China Caring Hands’ on November 30. This marks another key milestone of Siemens’ journey towards future and devotion to China’s CSR development, as well as an example of its firm commitment and tangible actions to support China’s social sustainability.
“Siemens China Caring Hands” mainly includes “I-Green Education Program”, as well as the newly launched “Digital Future Education Project” and “A Gift of Sound”. "Digital Future Education Program" responds to the needs of digital education and talents development by strengthening the cultivation of innovative, applied, and skilled talents through cooperation with Chinese vocational education institutions, injecting the new drive of talents into China's high-quality economic development. “A Gift of Sound”, a charity project benefited 400 left-behind children in 2023. Siemens provides an audio recording platform and reading materials for employee volunteers, distributes the audio gifts carrying knowledge and companionship to the children in need.
Continuing its engagement in CSR activities in the forms of knowledge and experience exchange, technological assistance, and monetary donations, with a focus on Access to Technology, Access to Education and Sustaining Communities, Siemens to work with more partners to support China’s development and create more social value.
