As a leading brand in the cleaning industry, Kärcher is not only the world's largest provider of cleaning equipment and solutions, but also the partner of many cleaning workers around the world. As early as 2015, Kärcher began to speak out for cleaners, and even joined forces with the Building Contractors Trade Organization of New Zealand (BSCNZ) to kick off the annual "Thank Your Cleaner Day" series of activities held on October 20th. Kärcher, together with its partners across China, launched the "2022 Thank Your Cleaner Day" campaign to honor the unsung heroes who protect our cities through practical actions.
After inviting cleaners to climb up to the Oriental Pearl Tower in 2021 to experience the transformation of Shanghai, Kärcher has upgraded the scale of the event this year by launching the "Salute to Cleaners Day" in many places at the same time. Led by Kärcher, representatives of cleaning workers and their families from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou went to the Forbidden City, the banks of the Huangpu River, and the Pearl River to enjoy an immersive way of viewing the city they live in and guard day and night from a different perspective. In order to better thank the cleaning workers for their contribution to safeguarding and improving the public health environment, Kärcher also created a themed dinner for the cleaning workers and their families in the hope that they can enjoy the beauty of life during this exclusive festival. In addition, Kärcher also prepared customized gifts and cakes at the event in order to soothe their fatigue and hard work.
In addition, Kärcher also invited partners across China to join the campaign. Industry colleagues in Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Chengdu, Chongqing, Qingdao and Xi'an responded to the campaign and actively expressed their gratitude to the local heroes who protect their cities. Through thank-you letters, medals and gifts, they sent warmth and encouragement to the easily overlooked cleaners around them. Nowadays, "Thank Your Cleaner Day" has become the most special, warm and meaningful festival in the cleaning industry.
