In order to achieve the company's strategic goal of Go to Zero, which includes reducing the environmental impact of the production process, reduce the consumption of fresh water, and improve the recycling rate of water resources, we established a sewage treatment center in the DQ plant. By using grid, regulating tank, air flotation, AO biochemistry, MBR membrane and other processes  , we treat the tail water generated by the circulating cooling system and the domestic sewage in the factory area, as well as use an evaporator to treat the distilled water. The maximum daily treatment capacity can reach 1,050 tons.

Meanwhile, to further reduce the use of fresh water and find water points that can be used for reuse, after various discussions and studies, the testing of reused and treated water in some production equipment was completed for the first time in 2022. This not only expands the use channels of water reuse, but also makes a huge leap forward in the reuse of domestic wastewater for production equipment, providing a broader space for increasing water recycling in the future.

The sewage treatment center project not only reduces the discharge of pollutants and reduces the use of fresh water, but also reflects our corporate social responsibility. We are creating a smart green factory, integrating corporate social responsibility into organizational operations and management, and continuously paying attention to society, environment and our people.
