Project Name: The Green Crystal Digital Classroom Project

The Green Crystal Project aims to spark the curiosity of children in remote areas and improve the quality of education in local primary schools. It donates high-quality second-hand electronic devices, organizes online lectures and offline volunteer activities, supports teacher training and verification activities, and carries out activities on tablets to support digital education in remote areas.

By the end of 2022, the project had been launched in 19 schools in Suining city in Sichuan, Nujiang Prefecture in Yunnan, as well as  Kaifeng and Shangqiu cities in Henan. In total, this project donated 340 tablets and empowered 10,000+ students and 300+ teachers.

Merck China also mobilized employees at all levels, including President of Merck China Allan Gabor, who hosted the Curiosity Class online with students.
