Product / Service Introduction
Hybrid Drive is a three-stage planetary semi-direct drive transmission. The product will be installed inside the wind turbine generator set, which is used to convert the low-speed and high-torque input generated by blades into the high-speed and low-torque output. Its function is to complete the conversion of speed and torque, thus reducing the production and transportation costs of generators and lowering the production and manufacturing costs of wind turbines. Journal bearing is used for the gearbox, so that the torque density of this product is 6% higher than similar products, which means that we will use less raw materials and be more environmentally friendly.
The product is expected to start in late November 2023, and it is expected to deliver more than 200 units in the next two years.
Explanation of Circular Economy Practice
The principle of circular economy emphasizes the conservation of resources, flexible use and environmental friendliness. Driven by Hybrid drive, Hybrid Drive not only saves 87.5% of rare earth resources, 90% of copper resources and 83% of electrical steel resources, but also avoids the consumption of traditional energy resources. Moreover, the previously separate transmission parts and generators are combined into a particularly compact drive unit, which only needs 50% space. It is a great advantage that different systems can be flexibly applied to land and sea power generation, which can reduce carbon emissions and the use of freshwater resources while reducing noise. And the use of new components is easy to recycle and has high security, but also improves the overall efficiency by 1%. The development and application of Hybrid drive has created a lot of employment opportunities for local communities, covering different fields from manufacturing to installation and maintenance. Recycling and Recovery:
The design lifetime of gear box is 20 years. The gearbox will be disassembled and recycled at the end of its service period. All parts of gearbox will be recycled , including iron, copper and rubber.
