Poor literacy education and mental difficulties for left-behind children in rural areas are still social problems today. For this reason, WAGO China has partnered with the “After graduating from the public library“  to launch public welfare projects since 2021. The project selected schools with outstanding retention issues. Three libraries have been built in Qinghe County, Hebei Province, and Luxi County, Pingxiang City, Jiangxi Province, and one science and technology museum in Shangqiu City, Henan Province. Each library has more than 2,000 excellent extracurricular readings and modern multimedia equipments. The Science and Technology Library has popular science areas, invention areas, and wisdom areas, and some teachers conduct science and technology courses to inspire innovative thinking of children. In addition, WAGO China has donated many books to the library and provide quality courses for children. Since its inception, the project has invested about 400,000 in creating a good reading and learning environment for rural left behind children. In the future, WAGO China will continue to expand its donor base and scale to build more happy growth environment for more children.
