Klüber Lubrication has already achieved climate neutrality in production sites (Scope 1& Scope 2) by 2022. We are committed to achieve climate neutrality from the supply chain (Scope3) by 2025.
In 2022, our CO2eq was reduced by 49% compared with 2019 level. Our goal is to reduce CO2eq by 75% by 2030. We will announce our scope 3 carbon reduction plan in 2023.
In terms of energy, Klüber Lubrication will continue to work to reduce dependence on fossil energy, increase the purchase of green electricity, and use 100% green electricity in production sites by 2025.
In addition, Klüber Lubrication will help customers save energy and cost through customized lubrication technology solutions. Our core competence is helping our customers achieve their sustainability goals. We exceeded this ahead of schedule in 2021 with 395 GWh – which equates to around 52,000 tonnes of CO2. The new target is to help our customers achieve energy savings of up to 800 GWh by 2025 with our KlüberEnergy service."
